Images of Regular Feeder Birds for North-Central Texas

Many birds can be reliable visitors year-after-year at bird feeders. Some birds like the Northern Mockingbird seek certain food types at the feeders (usually fruit). Other birds like Chipping Sparrows may visit frequently some years, but not others. A few will be sporadic opportunists. The type of feeder and the type of food will help determine the diversity of the species, but even the perfect feeding station will never draw all the expected birds. No list of feeder birds will ever be perfectly definitive.
